CR80 in detail

CR80 is the industry name for the ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1 format: 85.60 × 53.98mm with rounded corners of about 3mm. It’s the same as a bank card, so it fits wallets, card holders, lanyard pouches and readers designed for standard cards.

For print, artwork is supplied with 3mm bleed on every side — about 92 × 60mm — and text stays 3mm inside the trim. Templates are in the artwork guide.

Which size?

  • If it goes in a wallet, reader or standard holder: CR80.
  • If it lives on keys: a 54 × 29mm key tag, or a combo card if members also want a wallet card.
  • If it hangs on a lanyard and needs reading at arm’s length: 70 × 100mm, 120 × 80mm or A7.
  • If it has to fit an existing printer or reader, check its specification before choosing.
